Ingredients

  • 250 g rice for sushi
  • 4 squares of nori seaweed
  • filling to taste
  • salt
  • wasabi horseradish to serve to taste
  • pickled ginger to be served to taste
  • soy sauce to serve to taste

Cooking guidelines

Rinse the rice thoroughly several times and rub it in your fingers in a pot of water until you pour almost clear water out of it. Measure the amount of rice with a cup, pour it into a double-bottomed pot or rice cooker, pour the same amount of water over it and let it rest for 1 hour, the grains will stop being transparent and turn white.

Heat the rice to a boil quickly, reduce the temperature and let it cook until soft for about 15 minutes, or cook it in the rice cooker according to the instructions. Let the cooked rice cool down, lightly fluff it with a fork if necessary.

Place a slice of algae with the rough side up in the shape of a diamond. With a damp hand or a spoon, we place the first pile of rice in the middle of the seaweed so that we can then wrap the seaweed as a letter envelope in a square package. Add salt to the taste and filling, spread the rice on the surface of the algae and put any raw materials on it.

Let's think about how they will look independent even in the composition on the cut. Cover with another spoon of rice and wrap tightly. First we pull the tips of the lashes on the left and right hand together, then the upper and lower tip. We wrap the square package in snack paper and let it rest in stock down. Due to the moisture of the rice, the algae sticks together. Cut with a half-moistened sharp knife. It lasts 1 day in the fridge.
