Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, line a baking tray with baking paper or grease with oil. In a large bowl, mix a pinch of cayenne, black pepper and salt with the baking powder, garlic powder and flour. Now add the solid butter and use your hands to form a coarse crumb.Add the finely chopped bacon, cheese and chives and mix everything thoroughly. Finally, add the buttermilk to the dough and knead it thoroughly with your hands.
Then transfer the dough to a floured rolling pin, roll it out into a pancake and fold it in half.
