Starting the new year with a New Year's resolution is an annual step for most of the population to get rid of old habits. Although each one is different, weight loss usually ends up on the top of the list. After the beautiful festive days when we were feasting and everything was in excess, the kilos went up very quickly.
1./ Enough magnesium
Stress, who doesn't know it. Lots of work, little time, rush, got a million things to do!!! From the very morning we have to face daily obstacles. Although there are thousands of diseases in the world, stress is the number one disease of civilization. One of the many stress induced diseases is overeating. If you are stressed on a daily basis, be sure to start supplementing magnesium - magnesium is an excellent anti-stress mineral. You'll find the highest amounts of it in bananas, figs, and nuts. Cocoa also contains a lot of magnesium, and of course chocolate. If you want to satisfy your sweet tooth, choose dark chocolate instead. The cocoa content should preferably be at least 70%.
2./ Replace sugar with a healthy sweetener
If you have a sweet tooth, try to forget about the various snacks that will only help you for a while. A lot of sugar washes out a lot of minerals from your body. The worst thing about sugar is that it weakens the kidneys, where the life force of each individual is.
3./ Don't eat pastries
Tires around the waist, bloated tummies, these are the exact signs of gluten settling in the gut. Bread has become an indispensable part of the morning breakfast. Unfortunately, for most of the population, it is a powerful drug without which they cannot start the day.
4./ Drink plenty of water
The human body is 70% water. It is constantly in motion, we excrete it in urine, stool, sweat. It is a constantly turning water wheel that distributes water throughout the body. If we don't have enough, we start to feel tired, headaches come, kidney problems, and the whole body starts to dry out. The daily amount of water we should drink in a day varies quite a bit depending on age, gender, season, dietary intake, and the typology of the person. Breaking records in drinking water, for example, now over the winter, is definitely stupid. Just drink a pint of water with apple cider vinegar in the morning.
5./ Nobody is perfect
Just because you don't lose weight the first time doesn't mean you have a weak willpower. The important thing is to learn from your mistakes and not make them next time. Make sure you don't wait for the new year, because you can start again at any time. As I said at the beginning of this article, it all comes down to the little things. These are the ones we can keep improving and expanding our knowledge.
