Ingredients

  • Medium sized onion – 1 no. (It should be chopped).
  • Ketchup – 1- 1/ 2 cups.
  • Tamarind pods – 3/4 pound
  • Olive oil – 1 tablespoon.
  • Packed light brown sugar – 1/ 3 cup.
  • Chopped, canned chipotle chiles – 2 to 4 teaspoons.
  • Pepper – 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Kosher salt – 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Pinch ground cloves or allspice

Cooking guidelines

Then, the shells and fibers should be peeled off.

You must take a medium saucepan.

Put 2 cups of water and fruit in the pan.

Cover. Bring to boil.

Now, the heat should be reduced.

Simmer for 5 minutes.
