Ingredients

• Softened butter – 1/2 cup.
• Lemon juice – 3 tablespoons. (Juice of one lemon)
• Sifted confectioner’s sugar - 3/4 cup.
• Egg yolk – 1 no. (The egg should be a large one).

• Lemon zest – 1 1/2 tablespoons. (1 lemon)
• All-purpose flour – 1 1/2 cups.
• Vanilla extract – 1/2 teaspoon.

Cooking guidelines

First of all, you have to heat the oven to 350 Degrees.

The second step is to lightly grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.

A mixer bowl should be taken.

You need to blend confectioner’s sugar and butter in the mixer bowl.

The blending process has to be done for 4 minutes. You have to make sure that the mixture turns fluffy and light.

Now, it is the time to mix in egg yolk until blended well.

Then, you can add lemon juice.

The next step is to add the lemon zest.

The vanilla extract needs to be added as well.

It is the time to gradually mix in flour.

Take a small bowl.

Now, the dough should be rolled into one-inch balls.

Now, it should be placed on the prepared baking sheet.

Then, you have to press down in a light manner.
