Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Cooking guidelines

Heat a medium sized saucepan over medium-low heat, add the butter and let it melt. Be careful not to burn the butter or let it brown too much. Carefully pour in the heavy cream, mix it well with the melted butter and let the mixture simmer lightly for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, crush your garlic and then add it to the cream mixture. Grate over the Parmesan cheese and whisk it into the sauce quickly to prevent any lumps from forming. Heat the sauce through, allowing the cheese to melt nicely.

Once you are ready to serve, chop the fresh parsley and sprinkle it into the sauce.
