Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados, peeled, pitted, and mashed
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely diced
  • 2 Roma (or plum) tomatoes, diced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper (optional)

Cooking guidelines

In a medium sized bowl, mash the avocados and mix them with the lime juice and salt. Stir in the onion, tomatoes, fresh cilantro leaves and garlic. Season to taste with cayenne pepper, if you wish to give your guacamole a little extra kick.

To achieve the best taste, put your guacamole in the refrigerator for about 1 hour, during which the tastes will blend beautifully into one another. But if you have less time on your hands, feel free to tuck in straight away!
