Ingredients

  • For about 1 kg of granola:
  • 200 g oatmeal
  • 200 g spelled flakes
  • 250 g coarsely chopped nuts (use the ones you like best)
  • ½ cup of pumpkin seeds
  • ½ cup of sunflower seeds
  • ¼ cup of flaxseed
  • ½ teaspoons of cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoons of freshly grated nutmeg
  • pinch of salt
  • 200 ml of honey
  • juice of 1 orange
  • 150 g of apple crosses
  • 130 g of unsulphured cranberries in apple juice

Cooking guidelines

Preheat the oven to 170 ° C. In a larger bowl, I mix oatmeal and spelled flakes, nuts, seeds, cinnamon and a pinch of salt. In a mug, mix honey with orange juice, pour on the flake mixture and mix thoroughly with my hands.

Pour the flake mixture evenly on the baking sheet and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. I mix the flakes several times with a wooden spoon so that they do not burn. When the flakes and nuts are pretty golden, I take the baking sheet out of the oven and let the granola cool thoroughly.

Only then do broken crosses and cranberries be added to it. Store the granola in a container with a lid, where it will last for about a month.
