Ingredients

  • Sugar – 1/2 cup.
  • All purpose flour – 1-1/2 cups.
  • Unsalted butter – 1/3 cup.
  • Large egg – 1 no.
  • Salt- 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Allspice – 1/4 teaspoon.
  • Baking powder – 1-1/2 teaspoons.
  • Nutmeg- 1/4 teaspoon.
  • Ground cloves – 1 pinch.
  • Orange zest – 1 teaspoon.
  • Ground ginger – 1 pinch.
  • Whole milk – 1/2 cup.
  • ##Cinnamon sugar coating
  • Granulated sugar – 1/2 cup.
  • Ground cinnamon – 1 teaspoon.
  • Melted butter -6 tablespoons.

Cooking guidelines

1/3 cup butter should be heated in the pan.

Heat must be kept at medium-high level.

Stir in a frequent manner.

Cook until browned and stop when a nutty smell comes out.

It should be poured into a mixing bowl and set aside.

The oven should be preheated to 350F.

The next step is to grease and lightly flour a 12-cup muffin tin.

Sugar and egg must be added to the cooled butter.

Beat using an electric mixer until properly combined and turn fluffy and light in color.

Take a bowl.

Zest, flour, salt, baking powder and spices must be combined in the bowl.

The dry ingredients need to be added in increments to the butter-sugar mixture alternating with the milk.

Beat well until fully combined after each addition.

The batter has to be divided evenly into the muffin tin cups.

Then, you must pop into the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until turning golden brown and fragrant.

Take a shallow bowl.

Place the melted butter in the bowl.

Take another bowl and, sugar and cinnamon should be combined in that bowl.

When the puffs come out of the oven, a knife should be used gently to pop them all out of the muffin tin.

Each puff has to be dipped in the melted butter.The next step is to roll each one into the cinnamon sugar.Now, you must transfer it into a platter.The dish is ready to serve.
