Ingredients

  • 1) Beef tenderloin steaks - 4 nos. (Each steak must be equivalent to 4-ounce).
  • 2) Salt - 1/2 teaspoon.
  • 3) Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon. (Freshly ground).
  • 4) Olive oil - 1 tablespoon.
  • 5) Shallots - 1/2 cup. (Finely chopped)
  • 6) Sweet cherries - 1 cup. (They must be pitted and halved and you can use Bing).
  • 7) Star anise 1 no.
  • 8) Red wine - 3/4 cup. (You can use dry red wine).
  • 9) Butter - 1 tablespoon.
  • 10) Almond Green Beans.
  • 11) Dijon smashed Potatoes.

Cooking guidelines

The oven needs to be preheated to 425 Degrees Fahrenheit.

Take a large cast-iron skillet.

It should be heated over high heat.

Pepper and salt must be sprinkled over the steaks in an even way.

Oil needs to be added to pan.

It should be swirled to coat.

Now, the steaks must be added.
