Take out three 7x3 inch bread loaf pans. Grease them well and flour.
In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, water and sugar until all is blended together well and the mixture is smooth. In a separate bowl, mix together the dry ingredients - the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger. Stir the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture thoroughly but take care not to over-mix. Pour the batter equally into the three prepared baking pans.
Place the baking pans in your preheated oven and bake them for about 50 minutes. You will know that your loaves are done when you insert a wooden toothpick into the center of the loaves and it comes out clean. Remove your loaves from the oven and let them cool for about 10 minutes in their pans before tipping them out and leaving them to cool completely on a wire rack.
