Ingredients

  • Tartar cream - 1 teaspoon.
  • Baking soda - 1 teaspoon.
  • Flour - 2 1/2 cups.
  • Egg - 1 no.
  • Vanilla - 1 teaspoon.
  • Butter - 1 cup. (It needs to be softened)
  • Powdered sugar - 1 1/2 cups.
  • #For frosting#
  • Powdered sugar - 3 1/2 cups. (It should be sifted)
  • Vanilla - 1 teaspoon.
  • Cream of tartar - 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Milk - 1/2 cup.
  • Butter - 3 tablespoons. (It has to be melted)

Cooking guidelines

First of all, you need to take a large mixing bowl.

Add egg, vanilla, butter and sugar and they should be mixed well.

Flour, baking soda and tartar cream should also be stirred in.

Then, all these ingredients must be wrapped in a saran wrap in a tight manner.

It has to be placed into a refrigerator for 2 hours at least and you can keep it for 24 hours.

When it gets chilled, you have to take it out from the fridge and it should be rolled out into a 1/2-inch thick on a surface that is floured in light way. (Powdered sugar can be used instead of flour if you want)

It needs to be cut it into circle shapes and the measurement of the circle must be kept at 2 1/2 inch.

For accommodating the marshmallow, it should be rolled out larger in slight way.

They have to be baked at 375 Degree Fahrenheit for around 7 minutes.

Place on a rack to cool.

For the icing, all ingredients should be mixed and tested consistently.

For achieving a thinner texture, a bit more sugar needs to be added and for achieving runny icing, more powdered sugar has to be added. (Make sure that the consistency is thick enough for coating a spoon and thin enough for spreading on a cookie.
